Return Policy

You must return any item/s within 21 days of receiving your order.
We can only accept returns if items are unworn and in their original condition with labels/tickets attached
Store Credit is valid for 12 months
No exchange or returns on sale items
You will need to cover the cost of return postage (We will credit you the cost of postage with a gift card)
All Returns must comply with our Returns Policy (please read further information listed below)
If you have received a faulty item, please ensure you contact our online customer support team at hello@gelatolane.com with your online order number to arrange prepaid postage.

RETURNS?

We want you to love what you order from us but we understand sometimes things don’t fit right or aren’t exactly what you had in mind.
In these instances we will issue an online store GIFT CARD on full priced items.
The Gelato Lane team does a thorough inspection of all goods before they are shipped to our customers. We stand behind the quality of our products, but understand these issues can sometimes occur.
For Faulty items, refunds cannot be guaranteed until item is inspected on return for manufacturing faults.

CAN I EXCHANGE OR RETURN SALE ITEMS ?

No, we do not offer exchanges or returns on SALE items.
All Sale Items Purchases are final.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO  RETURN MY ITEM ?

Returns must be sent back within 21 days of the customer receiving the item.
Returns will be processed within 5 business days of receiving your items.
Returns must be received in original
condition as defined below:
  • In original condition
  •  Unworn
  • Unstained
  • Unperfumed
  • Tags/labels still attached
Note: For hygienic reasons cosmetics, hosiery, swimwear or earrings cannot be returned.
Please note that returns which don’t comply with the above criteria will automatically be returned to sender, so please take extra care when trying on your order.

FAULTYS

We are so sorry if the item you received was damaged or incorrect!
On the slight chance that you do not receive your purchase in perfect condition due to a manufactured fault, please email us at hello@gelatolane.com immediately before returning the item back to us with a description and image of the fault/discrepancy.

Once approved, we will then be able to cover the return postage cost and issue you with a prepaid postage slip. Please complete your returns form explaining the fault and post the item back to us.

REFUNDS

In compliance with Australian Consumer Law, GELATO LANE is not required to provide a refund for wrong sizing, fit or change of mind returns. I.e if you make the wrong selection, need a different size or change your mind, within compliance with Consumer Rights GELATO LANE is not obligated to offer a refund.

However, if there is a fault with the style you've purchased, we will offer to replace, if available in stock. If we cannot replace the style, we will offer a gift voucher or refund.  All claims for faulty styles are assessed on an individual basis, and the outcome of a refund is at the discretion of GELATO LANE.

 All refunds granted for Faulty's will be issued via the payment method you used to purchase the item

HOW DO I RETURN AN ITEM?

Gelato Lane accepts all full price returns that are sent back within 21 days of receiving your item(s). No returns will be accepted outside this time period.
You will be issued a store credit for the value of the item(s) you are returning.
  1. Complete the returns form
    1. CLICK LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE TO DOWNLOAD A COPY OF THE REUTNS FORM
  2. Make sure your garment meets the checklist on the form.
  3. Return the form and your item to us via post (this postage is at your own cost)
  4.  If all the criteria are met we will then issue a Store Credit Note.
PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS FOR CHANGE OF MIND OR INCORRECT CHOICE, ALL RETURNS WILL RESULT IN STORE CREDIT.

 DO WE OFFER ONLINE EXCHANGES?

Unfortunately we do not offer online exchanges.  
All returns will result in being issued a credit note.

AFTERPAY RETURNS

All orders made with Afterpay are in accordance with all Gelato Lane return policies. Once your order has been processed, you will be issued with a Store Credit Voucher and you will continue to pay your Afterpay instalments. Gelato Lane is unable to offer partial refunds/store credits. The store credit will be deposited for the total value of the item(s) returned.
